Gulf Coast Triathlon

charities info

The Gulf Coast Triathlon is the country’s oldest not-for-profit triathlon.

Our longevity can be attributed to a loyal participant base and the 2000-plus volunteers who support us every year. We know we would not be a world-class race without our wonderful volunteers and the Bay County community. The GCT is proud to donate all race proceeds to local charities.

In the past nine years, the Gulf Coast Triathlon Foundation has donated nearly $300,000 to local youth organizations, school sports programs, the PCB Police Dept Cops n’Kids program, the Florida Sheriff ‘s Youth Ranch, the Panama City Swim Team, the Panama City Marine Institute, St. Andrews State Park, and the Aquatic Center at Frank Brown Park.

Please take a moment to learn about the organizations the GCT supports.

  • Panama City Swim Team
Panama City Swim Team’s mission is to promote youth swimming in Bay County. Ranging from a learn to swim program called Summer Splashes to a year-round program, PCST has become the “go-to” aquatics program in the North Florida region. Nicknamed the “Tsunami,” swimmers annually rank high in the state of Florida and achieve National Qualifying times that enable them to earn athletic scholarships for college. More importantly, many swimmers excel in the classroom rising to become the valedictorian and salutatorian at their respective schools. Aiming to be more than a swim club, PCST produces well-rounded individuals who bring tremendous pride to the entire community.
