HOMESTAY - or hotel stay advice?

Hello everybody,
my name is Radek Parnica, I am competitive triathlete living in Savannah, Ga. I am coming to Panama City for Ironman Florida (nov.3), for my first ever Ironman , my first ever Ironman in MEN PRO category as well. I dont have a place to stay yet. I am looking for just "room" for one person close to race area. Do you know anyone who could help me to safe few extra $ or give me advice where to look for "not" expensive hotel not too far from Ironaman Florida race area? Due to racing PRO's I need to be in there on Thursday 12:30pm which means I am looking for stay between Wednesday-Sunday morning.
